‘Tails from the Horse’s Mouth’ was an extraordinary successful community play created in partnership with Spectacle Theatre. The production, fully booked prior to the first night ran from 17th until 20th November 2010 at Coleg Morgannwg Rhondda Campus. The production was also invited to be performed at the launch of an exhibition based on the lesser known social upheavals in Wales at the Waterfront Museum Swansea. “The real drama of the Tonypandy Riots of 1910 portrayed by the people of the Rhondda.” The community group members involved in the play have set up an online petition, as the recent Welsh Arts Council investment review has cut funding to Spectacle Theatre. This seriously affects the future of the company and its operations. We are urging everyone to sign the petition and show their support for Spectacle Theatre.
