ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY’S OPEN STAGES COMES TO WEST WALES! |
An Aberystwyth - based theatre company’s production has been chosen to become part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open Stages programme.Louche Theatre will be presenting Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’ during July 2012 as part of a national programme of RSC productions. Louche Theatre’s Artistic Director, Harry Durnall said: “We are very excited to have been asked to be part of this venture by the RSC .We intend to involve people of all ages in all aspects of the production, both on stage and in the making of it. Music will be an important element and we hope local musicians and singers will also become involved. We are planning for it to be an open-air production, ideally in the grounds of Aberystwyth Castle”.
