EUCLID, the UK Cultural Contact Point for the European Commission, is plaeased to announce a further round of seminars on European funding and Culture 2000, to be run across the UK, in London, Taunton, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle upon Tyne, Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast in March-April 2002. There are 8 full day seminars covering all aspects of EU funding programmes for culture, including Culture 2000 and other trans-national funds, and also information on the structural funds. These seminars will include relevant background information on the EU, as well as tips and hints about finding partners and making applications. There are also 5 half day workshops that are specifically aimed at people thinking of making an application to Culture 2000 - the next call for Culture 2000 (for 2003 projects) is due out in March with a deadline in June/July. These workshops will look at the detail of the application form and the other requirements for submitting an application. We are very pleased that 9 funding agencies have agreed to provide support for these seminars this time, which means that subsidies are available for the seminars in many of these venues. A full list of these agencies is included at the end of this e-mail and is also in the attached leaflet.
