Aberystwyth 2 - 4 May 2011

Aberystwyth Arts Centre and the TFTS Department at Aberystwyth Uni present
the first online performance symposium!

The event is supported by National Theatre Wales and features papers and
performances from people such as John McGrath, Rimini Protokoll, Patrick
Primivesi and LIGNA. The symposium is FREE to attend in person, but it
will also be live cast across the web so those who cannot attend in person
will be able to watch and participate online.

The programme of events can be viewed here:

The programme incorporates discussions on topics as diverse as one-on-one
theatre, the ethics of spectatorship, changing roles of the audience into
'co-producers', new media technologies in theatre and different methods
for studying and talking to audiences. Events will include LIGNA's 'The
New Man', NTW's 'Outdoors' (these 2 performances not free), a performance
market and a Youtuber in residence.
