The two highly talented performance artists, Maggie Nichols and Claire Turner will be giving 3 special performances of their new piece refuse at St Dogmaels Gallery on the 9th, 10th and 11th of June.

The artists describe the piece as 'surreal kitchen sink agit-prop performance art' and previous performances have been described as both 'hilarious' and 'challenging'.

Refuse invites the audience to inhabit the surreal, satirical and scary world of Lady Barren-Brook Smythe and her transformation when she encounters Bea.

The performers call on a host of characters, using movement, music, film and altered states to explore 'rubbish' both in our society and ourselves. They tell the story of a community faced with destruction by militarized government interventions and the increasing use of pacifying pharmaceuticals on a disorientated public.

The gallery will become an installation space from 9th June- 15th June for the duration of the performances, with pieces by other artists, providing a specialized environment for the events.

Artists are: Jake Whittaker, Penny Jones, Becky knight, Rachael Hargrave, Tricia Mcparlin and Peter Taylor- Wood,
