A platform for artists and companies to experiment and receive feedback on initial ideas or ‘Inc’lings’ for a performance. The aim is to create and share a new work undertaken during a five day residency and to receive feedback to help future development.“[Inc’ling] gave me the time, facilities and the opportunity to develop something that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise done. I would recommend it to anyone who has an idea they want to try out. I can’t overemphasize how useful it has been for me.” Ben Partridge – Inc’ling 2010 Inc’ling is a platform for you to experiment, grow networks and receive feedback Who can apply? •Inc’ling receives applications from artists or companies who are from Wales or are currently working in Wales and who are looking to test out their ideas and develop their practice •Applications for Welsh or English language work in theatre, dance, circus, site specifi c work, digital or online art forms are welcome • Inc’ling 2011 will be run between Sun 7 – Thu 11 Aug (all applicants must be available during these dates) We offer: •Rehearsal space over a 5 day period (plus use of the Weston Studio or other space for the presentation of the groups findings/work on the 5th day) •Facilitated feedback through feedback forms, fi ve minute forums and face to face at the end of the evening • Technical and front of house support •Informal help, advice and expertise from members of the Centre’s staff To apply: Please contact Simon Coates, Associate Producer for an application form (details below) Return your completed application form by: Mon 4 July Artists and companies will be chosen by: Fri 8 July Contact: Simon Coates, Associate Producer Wales Millennium Centre, Bute Place, CF10 5AL 029 2063 4637 simon.coates@wmc.org.uk |
