Marking UNESCO’s World Theatre Day, the Minister for Culture, Sport and the Welsh Language Jenny Randerson today highlighted the Assembly Government’s approach to developing theatre in Wales. UNESCO designated 27 March as World Theatre Day in 1962 as an occasion for people involved in the arts to celebrate the power of the performing arts, particularly theatre.
