THEATR BARA CAWS presents ‘GA’ I FOD..?’ by Madeleen Bloemendaal |
Nature calls..! Our next exciting production ‘Ga’ i fod..?’ promises to be a breath of fresh air – literally. Five people meet for a week-end of LARPing, to experience life as animals. Going back to nature can be a weird and wonderful thing, and some are able to ‘lose themeselves’ more successfully than others. Whatever happens they’ll never forget the experience – naturally. This production is a translation of an original script by Madeleen Bloemndaal from the Netherlands. She also co-directs. Madeleen said “Coming to Wales has totally ‘Welshed-up’ the humour in ‘Ga’ i fod..?’, but at the same time it has remained universal so everybody can understand it – even if you don’t speak the language. To me this is important: finding common ground with the audience whatever their backgrounds may be”. Bryn Fôn comments: “People are people all over the world, but what about animals? The production is physical, visual and very funny and says all about mankind. Working with Madeleen has been a fantastic experience”. Director: Madeleen Bloemendaal and Bryn Fon Actors: Rhian Cadwaladr, Iwan Charles, Carys Gwilym, Mared Elliw Huws, Merfyn Pierce Jones The production can be seen at two locations: Parc Glynllifon: Wednesday – Saturday ll-14 July 7.30p.m. (Nr. Caernarfon) Matinee: Saturday l4 July 3.00p.m. Ty Henblas, Anglesey Wednesday – Saturday l8-21 July 7.30p.m. (Anglesey) Matinee: Saturday 21 July 3.00p.m. For further information see: www.theatrbaracaws.com |
