Ella Good and Nicki Kent present'Wild Thing I Love You' at Aberystwyth Arts Centre. Thursday 21 March 2013Wild Thing I Love You is a new performance that examines the experience of searching for a legendary mythical creature in rural America, using extracts of recorded conversations, film, animation and live performance made from a real life trip across America in search of Bigfoot. In September 2011 Ella and Nicki travelled across rural America to meet and interview people with Bigfoot experiences, camp in the woods, and document their experiences. Ella Good and Nicki Kent are Bristol based artists who collaborate to make experimental performance. They are members of Residence, an artist-led organisation making space for artists to make theatre and live art. The resulting 60 minute long performance takes place in a tent, and uses hand-made animation, projection, shadows and live performance to recreate and re-tell the experiences for an intimate audience. Touring nationally from February 2013, Wild Thing I Love You is on at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on Thursday 21st March, with two performances at 6PM and 8PM.
