Nathan isn’t here anymore. Michael is to blame He knows that through his daily life, he and the one’s he loves have to deal with it. A harrowing and touching new play that examines the suffering of the condemned as well as the victimized. The sorrow of the guilty and the innocent. The shattered lives of the sorry and the not. The premiere of 'Walk on Mars' is a play of loss, redemption, education and identity under the apprehension that anyone, with the powerful might of will, can go far. This production not only showcases the talent of new writing but of performance and the building of performance from students of drama and theatre. With a young and talented cast that includes Rob Broadhurst, Hope Dowsett, Emily Dyble, James Hamilton, Samuel Harris, Laura Hunt, Joe James & Hannah-Rae Sefton. This production is also assistant directed by Sian Spence. Christopher T. Harris has been writing for the stage for over three years. This is his professional debut. His works includes: For the Drama Association of Wales, Great Mundane (Adjudicator’s Award Gwent Festival 2010); For the National Eisteddfod, The Fallen Night (Winner of Best Production and Best Actor under 25); Pine Heads at the Youth Council of Chepstow (Available through Lulu Publishing); Foul West (Broadway’s Aberystwyth, March 2012); From Now On (National Eisteddfod 2012) and Sick (Scriptography Productions, Aberystwyth Arts Centre) He is currently studying for a BA in Drama and Theatre studies at Aberystwyth, following two years in the Young Actor’s Studio at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
