U.Dance 2013 is a national celebration of youth dance, with performances in venues throughout the UK in 2013. This U.Dance Cymru platform brings together some of Wales’ finest young dancers, plus members of National Youth Dance Wales, for an evening of energetic and inspirational dance, across a variety of dance styles.Participating groups are: Coleg Sir Gar Academy and Coleg Sir Gar Commercial Company (Carmarthenshire), Bridgend Youth Dance, Monmouthshire Youth Dance Company, Awen Academy (Caerphilly), Insync Inclusive Youth Dance, Connections Youth Dance and Expressions Associates (Rhondda Cynon Taf), CDC from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Rubicon Dance (Cardiff) and Powys Youth Dance Company. National Youth Dance Wales (NYDW) will also perform an adapted extract from Closer choreographed by the dancers with NYDW Artistic Director, Errol White, which premiered to enthusiastic audiences at Sherman Cymru last summer.
