‘Cyfres Rwdlan’, a highly successful series of Welsh books by award winning author Angharad Tomos will be celebrating their 30th birthday this year, and Arad Goch will be bringing these characters to life in their summer production CERDYN POST O WLAD Y RWLA, written by Angharad herself! “The books have spanned the generations and are as popular as ever, this is a fantastic opportunity for children across Wales to meet their favourite characters face to face in this exciting and colourful theatre production” Jeremy Turner, Director. During the performance the audience is invited to join Rala Rwdins, Strempan, Rwdlan, Y Dewin Dwl, Llipryn Llwyd, not forgetting Mursen the cat, on their holiday in Gwlad y Rwla. Having packed their flip flops and sun cream Rala Rwdins and the gang are ready for their beach holiday...but as usual, a cauldron full of challenges face the holidaymakers and things don’t go according to plan! Within the next few weeks the cast, Ffion Wyn Bowen, Nia Ann, Sion Trystan, Endaf Davies and Mursen the cat will be rehearsing for the tour, and it’s going to be busy as they will be performing 30 shows in 16 venues across Wales! “There has been an overwhelming response to the show, we have already sold 5,000 tickets and many performances have now sold out!
