Arad Goch are very pleased to announce that we have been invited to perform our theatre production WHERE THE LEAVES BLOW in Kingfestival Russia on the 28th of April. Kingfestival is an International Theatre Festival which takes place every two years in Novgorod, Russia. The Festival showcases the best contemporary theatre productions for children, young people and adults.WHERE THE LEAVES BLOW was developed by Arad Goch’s Artistic Director Jeremy Turner and actress Ffion Wyn Bowen. The production is aimed at primary school children and within the 50 minute piece the audience is invited to join the characters inside and outside and to use their imaginations as they listen, watch, create, build and play. The actors are Ffion Wyn Bowen and Gethin Evans and Ffion is currently learning some Russian words in order to communicate with the young audience in Novgorod! Having toured in Primary Schools in Wales the cast, Director Jeremy Turner and Technical Manager Rhys Pugh Evans are very excited about performing abroad. Arad Goch have performed in Festivals outside of the UK in the past but this is the company’s first performance in Russia.
