NoFit State circus brings BIANCO home

NoFit State circus brings BIANCO home Award-winning contemporary circus company, NoFit State, return to Wales Millennium Centre this spring with their new awe-inspiring show, BIANCO. The show will run for four nights only from Wednesday 1 May to Saturday 4 May 2013.

As a Cardiff-based company, NoFit State is no stranger to Wales Millennium Centre. The company has previously performed to packed houses in their eye-catching silver big top on the Oval Basin, but this year, for the first time, they will take to the Donald Gordon stage.

NoFit State is renowned for its dazzling and dramatic brand of contemporary circus, and BIANCO does not disappoint. This year, audiences will be invited to stand on the main stage for a promenade performance, where they’ll be joined by the performers and taken on a journey of unexpected transformation, encountering the many characters within.

Conrad Lynch, Artistic Director at Wales Millennium Centre says, “We are constantly trying to explore alternative ways of enhancing audiences experiences here at the Centre and I believe offering a promenade performance on stage with the performers does just that. We’ve been working closely with NoFit State for a number of years now and I’m delighted that as one of our Associated Companies we can this time welcome them inside the Centre!”

NoFit State Creative Producer, Tom Rack, says: “It’s great to be playing in our home town. We are really excited to have the opportunity to give our audiences something different by putting our show on the main stage. It’s going to be bigger, better, and more crazy than ever before!”

Developed in 2012 as a co-production with the Eden Project in Cornwall, BIANCO will be re-incarnated for the London Roundhouse and Wales Millennium Centre before being transformed for the company’s big top for an extensive tour of the UK.

BIANCO runs at Wales Millennium Centre from 1 – 4 May 2013 with a matinee performance on 4 May at 2.00pm. Tickets are £18 in advance and £22 on the day. Concessions available. Age guidance 5+. To book, visit www.wmc.org.uk or call 02920 63 6464.
