ENCORE is a celebration of dance, featuring an exciting blend of dynamic Urban Jazz, lyrical contemporary dance and pure classical ballet - coming to Mwldan on Saturday 4th May at 7.30pm.ENCORE Dance Company is a recently launched collaboration between Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, Ballet Theatre UK and other leading names in the UK dance industry, showcasing the dynamic talents of the next generation of dance artistes. Tring Park stands at the forefront of artistic specialist education in the UK. It offers a unique opportunity for young people who show an outstanding talent for the performing arts and aspire to an associated career, while still recognising the benefits of a fine academic education. Under the direction of Ballet Theatre UK’s Artistic Director, Christopher Moore, ENCORE will be presenting a number of highly anticipated performances and workshops around the country. Each season will contain a selection of new and creative works and revivals by highly acclaimed national choreographers. This world premiere of ENCORE will include new work featuring choreography by Odette Hughes, Wayne McGregor Random Dance & Sue Sparham, International Commercial Choreographer, other new work includes RED featuring choreography by Christopher Moore, Artistic Director Ballet Theatre UK, Quadratus - Choreography by Holly Noble, Artistic Director AD Dance and Miss Monroe - Choreography by Christopher Moore, Artistic Director Ballet Theatre UK. ‘This is an exciting time in the UK for dance’ says Moore ‘with so many creative outlets and international recognisation, the UK is fast becoming at the forefront of creative talent.’ Moore continues, ‘ENCORE is a dynamic reflection of what is current in the British dance scene and is an exciting opportunity for our new generation of dance artistes to collaborate with current big names in the industry and create new work with exciting work’.
