Homage is paid to one of the world's greatest tenors, in The Pavarotti Story at Swansea Grand Theatre on Wednesday 1 May at 7.30pm.This musical journey of the tenor's life explores Luciano Pavarotti's meteoric rise from soccer playing son of an Italian baker to onstage partner of 'La Stupenda', world renowned soprano, Joan Sutherland. From media darling to truly one-of-a-kind superstar, it is a story as large as the great one himself! The Pavarotti Story is performed by four principal performers from the major UK opera companies, including Welsh National Opera, English National Opera and Scottish Opera: Welsh tenor Robyn Lyn Evans together with Owen Webb, Naomi Harvey and Philip Lloyd Holtam will delight the audience with their performances of Pavarotti's iconic arias.
