This autumn, Clod Ensemble bring their site-specific performance An Anatomie in Four Quarters to Wales Millennium Centre’s Donald Gordon Theatre.Set to an original score featuring live strings, percussion and bagpipes, An Anatomie in Four Quarters celebrates the physical structure of the bodies we inhabit and the ways we attempt to see, define, contain, name and value them. The magnificent anatomy of Wales Millennium Centre is itself dissected as the audience walk to different viewing positions throughout the piece, examining what it means to open up and to be opened. www.clodensemble.com/performance/anatomy.htm REBOOT Workshops: 3 – 7 August 2013 As An Anatomie is a site-specific performance originally presented at Sadler’s Wells Theatre (London) in 2011, this August the company will take residency at Wales Millennium Centre to prepare for these autumn performances and are seeking interest from local dance/physical performers interested in working with Clod Ensemble to revisit the piece. Over 5 days, participants will work with the company to recreate elements of the original production and to see how it might work within the exciting context of the iconic Wales Millennium Centre, gaining insight into the way the company works whilst exploring the possibilities of this amazing venue. Participants must be available from 3 – 7 August. If you are interested in taking part, please send CVs and expressions of interest to: reboot@clodensemble.com by 10am on the 29 July.
