TAN dance presents STREET ODYSSEY at Swansea Grand Theatre

TAN dance presents STREET ODYSSEY at Swansea Grand Theatre After the huge success of Troy Boyz in 2012, TAN Dance is back with the sequel, Street Odyssey, the epic journey home from Troy, as you've never seen it before, at Swansea Grand Theatre on Monday 5th August at 8.00pm.

With a cast of more than fifty local young people, Homer's classic tale has been cleverly brought into the 21st century with cutting edge street dance, free running and knockout percussion. Witness the perils of waves and war, suffering and endurance told through a frantic fusion of urban dance styles.

Street Odyssey has it all...tumbling Greeks, raging storms, monsters, sirens and goddesses. And if that wasn't exciting enough, add to the mix special guests Swansea's own Samba Tawe and internationally renowned Male Dance Company Dynion...it's sure to be an unforgettable show that you won't want to miss.

Street Odyssey is supported by Swansea Metropolitan, University of Wales, Trinity Saint David's Olion Project (funded by Arts Council of Wales via Welsh Government).

Tickets are available from Swansea Grand Theatre's Box Office on 01792 475715 or can be purchased online at www.swanseagrand.co.uk and are £8.00 and £6.00*.
