7pm | Sunday 6 October Canolfan y Celfyddydau Aberystwyth Arts Centre The Urdd Gobaith Cymru Bryn Terfel Scholarship is worth £4,000 to the winner of one of the Urdd Eisteddfod's under 25 solo competitions. 6 solo winners are invited to compete for the Scholarship during a special evening in the Autumn following the Eisteddfod. The competitors are asked to prepare a 12 minutes programme to perform in front of distinguished guest judges who will decide the eventual winner of the Scholarship. The main aim of the Scholarship is to nurture the talents of Wales's best up and coming talent and give them the opportunity to develop within their field. The 2013 Bryn Terfel Scholarship will be held on Sunday 6 October in Aberystwyth Arts Centre's Great Hall. Six of the individual competition winners under 25 years old will compete for the title and the exclusive scholarship worth £4000.
