There is plenty of first class family entertainment at the New Theatre this half term with Cirque du Hilarious – Daredevils and Clowns on Monday 28 October and Peppa Pig’s Big Splash from Wednesday 30 – Thursday 31 October. Superstars of slapstick and winners of the ‘Ken Dodd Comedy Award’, Clive Webb and Danny Adams bring their brand new show to Cardiff. Excitement and comedy for the entire family, Cirque du Hilarious is a combination of magic, illusions, slapstick, madness and mayhem! They are joined by Dangerous Alan, stunning dancers and the now legendary rock band ‘Clownforce’! Clive and Danny have topped the bill at the Theatre Royal Newcastle pantomime for the last 5 years, making them household names. They are widely regarded as 'Superstars of Slapstick' due to their hilarious knock-about physical comedy and infamous Slosh and Water Routines! Fresh from the success of Peppa Pig’s Party and Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt comes Peppa Pig’s Big Splash. Peppa and friends are ready to entertain in this all-singing, all-dancing adventure full of songs, games and muddy puddles! Live on stage with puppets and brilliant sing-a-long songs, Peppa Pig’s Big Splash tells the story of the nursery’s leaky roof and Peppa and her friends quest to fix it! As they set up a fete to raise the money for the repairs, they’ll need the audience’s help to make sure everything goes smoothly.
