Rhondda Cynon Taff Cultural Services has some fantastic children’s events coming up this season. From everyone’s favourite Cbeebies presenter to the traditional Christmas panto, there’s plenty to keep you little ones entertained this autumn! Kicking off the season at The Coliseum Theatre on Saturday 12 October at 2.00pm is Cbeebies favourite Sid and his all-singing all-dancing show Sid’s Show! Join Sid live on stage in a fantastic fun-filled adventure that will knock your socks off. Help Sid on his quest to find his favourite socks and shoes – share in his adventure that will take you to the bottom of the sea, deep in the jungle and floating to outer space. With lots of funny characters and plenty of surprises along the way, Sid’s Show! will leave you with a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Expect lots of games, songs, poems, magic and buckets full of audience participation, perfect for children ages 3-7 and their families. Tickets cost £10.50 Concessions £6.50 And this year’s traditional family panto is the magical story of the boy who never grew up, Peter Pan. This high flying panto is at The Coliseum Friday 29 November – Sunday 8 December, The Muni Pontypridd Thursday 12 – Friday 27 December and at The Park & Dare Theatre Thursday 31 December – Saturday 4 January. Join Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell, Tiger Lily, and the Lost Boys on the swashbuckling adventure to rid Neverland of the dastardly Captain Hook and his crew of villainous pirates. Starring Frank Vickery as Nanny McSmee and Gareth John Bale as Captain Hook, plus a full supporting cast, this traditional family panto is guaranteed to captivate with fabulous special effects, spectacular scenery and a good helping of fairy dust.
