The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Anderson and adapted by internationally acclaimed playwright, Charles Way, tell the thrilling story of Gerda’s search for her lifelong friend, Kay who has been kidnapped by the chilling Snow Queen. With Kay as her helper the Snow Queen plans to freeze the hearts of all living things and rule supreme over a World of ice and snow. Only Gerda believes she can be recued and sets out on a life-changing journey to save Kay and defeat the Snow Queen. You’ll be swept away by Hans Christian Anderson’s most memorable and intriguing tale which shows how a good heart will always conquer an evil one. First presented at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff in 2009, this toasty, warm hearted adaptation will appeal to the whole family. A talented cast of over 20, headed by Milly Jackdaw as the evil Snow Queen, with striking costumes and exciting staging promises a wonderful evening of live theatre. Louche Theatre will be presenting The Snow Queen from Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December at the Morlan Centre, Aberystwyth.
