Sherman Cymru are proud to announce their very first Half Term Activity Week at the Sherman Theatre from 24 – 28 February, 10am – 4pm each day, tailored to keep young people of all ages occupied over the half term holiday while also offering a retreat for parents.With St David’s Day approaching the theme for the Half Term Activity Week is Springtime in Wales and each day will offer a different workshop aimed at developing young people’s skills in an encouraging and safe environment. The workshops will include arts and crafts with local artist Liz Price; fun drama classes, a day of dance with renowned choreographer/dancer Sarah Hudson; as well as the opportunity to step behind the camera with film-making and photography masterclasses. The workshops will all take place within the safe environment of Theatre 2 (with some roaming expected during the film and photography workshops) and will cost £25 per child per day including lunch at the theatre. For parents and guardians we have comfy chairs, an excellently stocked café bar and free wifi at your disposal. Monday Arts and Crafts ages: 6 – 10 Tuesday Drama ages: 6 – 10 Wednesday Dance ages: 8 - 12 Thursday Film ages: 11 - 14 Friday Photography ages: 7 - 12 Half Term Activity Week will be at the Sherman Theatre, from the 24 – 28 of February 2014.
