Everyman Theatre Cardiff is following up on the incredible success of its recent sell-out production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town with Peter Shaffer’s award winning classic, Equus. A powerful and provocative story of a stable boy and a psychiatrist who seeks to understand the sexual and religious mystery which leads to a climactic and unbelievable event. The Sunday Times has said the play is “...without doubt one of the greatest English post-war plays. As a work of art, it is magnificent. Rarely does contemporary drama probe so deep” Equus runs between 20th and 24th May at the Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. Performances start at 7.30 with a 2.30 Saturday matinee. Tickets are £10, concessions are £8 and available only on Tuesday, Thursday and the Saturday matinee.
