Y Negesydd gan Caryl Lewis

Whispers are a common feature of countryside life. But a very different kind of whispering is worrying one small community.  Elsi’s conversations with the dead are unsettling the village, revealing long buried secrets and telling hidden truths.  Is Elsi’s extraordinary talent a gift or a curse?

A new play set in 1950s Ceredigion by one of Wales’ favourite authors, Y Negesydd is a chilling tale of an exceptional woman as she re-lives not only her own harrowing past, but the pain and torment of a community facing rapid change.
