TROY BOYZ WEST TROY BOYZ WEST is a residential youth dance project funded by Arts Council Wales, Bluestone Foundation, Pembrokeshire County Council & Arts & Business Culture Step, managed by Arts Care Gofal Celf Dance in partnership with TAN Dance Ltd, The Torch Theatre, Celtic Camping & CADW.

Around 60 West Wales youngsters, half of whom are not in education, employment or training will engage in a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn the art form of street dance, to develop social and performance skills. Seven days working and living with professional dancers, musicians and choreographers at Celtic Camping, Pembrokeshire.

Staff and young people will devise a modern version of Homer’s account of The Trojan Wars, exploring classic literature through street dance.

This exciting project will culminate in a AN OPEN AIR PERFORMANCE at the BISHOP’S PALACE, ST DAVIDS, technically managed by Torch Theatre.
