Experts on acoustics and theatre design have worked around the clock to solve the problem of how to house three art forms with very different theatrical requirements all within the £104.2m centre's main auditorium. With the help of world-leading musical producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh and the Welsh National Opera, they have come up with a solution which will provide the ideal theatre environment for opera, ballet/dance and "West End" musicals, providing the highest levels of acoustics and best views of the stage for all three.
