A new burlesque stage show is coming to Aberystwyth Arts Centre on Friday 18 March at 8pm with a 50 Shades of Grey twist. The producers of the UK touring burlesque production, An Evening of Burlesque, are presenting a new stage show with a "vaudeville gone volatile” style, called Fifty Shades of Burlesque. Fifty Shades of Burlesque will bring the traditional art form up to date with a twist. Show producer Michael Taylor, said: “Now it’s time to take all of its elements – elegance, classic beauty, couture costumes and exotic themes and bring it well and truly into the 21st Century.” “Burlesque all-stars drawn from across the world appear as never seen before; it’s the hottest, most provocative extravaganza ever to grace the stage.” Highlights of the show include Polly Rae who is a burlesque superstar, chanteuse, compere, famed for bringing Burlesque to London’s West End in the critically acclaimed ‘The Hurly Burly Show’, leading lady Isabella Bliss, coming complete with her own giant martini glass, and Andrew Pepper who has been sashaying around the London cabaret circuit for quite a wee while now, dispensing fun and frivolity, whilst wearing increasingly tight trousers. The show is strictly over-18s only and not for the easily offended. To book contact Aberystwyth Arts Centre ticket office on 01970 62 32 32 or go online www.aberystwythartscentre.co.uk |
