Forced Entertainment present TOMORROW’S PARTIES at Aberystwyth Arts Centre

Forced Entertainment present TOMORROW’S PARTIES at Aberystwyth Arts Centre International innovators Forced Entertainment present their compelling show, Tomorrow’s Parties at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on Friday 11 March, 2016.

Tomorrow’s Parties is a playful, poignant and at times delirious look forwards to futures both possible and impossible. On a stage framed by coloured fairground lights, this seemingly minimal performance soon reveals itself as a low-fi theatrical explosion. Two performers enjoy the pleasure of invention as their suppositions take them in different directions.

From utopian and dystopian visions, science fiction scenarios, political nightmares and absurd fantasies,
Forced Entertainment deliver a thought-provoking survey of hopes and fears as they speculate about what the future might bring.

Described as ‘the best group of stage actors in Britain’ (The Times) Forced Entertainment have sustained a unique artistic partnership since 1984, confirming time and again their position as trailblazers in contemporary theatre. The group’s substantial canon of work - framed and focused by Artistic Director Tim Etchells - is distinctive and provocative, delighting in disrupting the conventions of theatre and the expectations of audiences.

Part of Site 2 / Safle 2 festival.
