THE HARRI-PARRIS EMBARK ON A WALES-WIDE THEATRE TOUR WITH THEIR SHOW – THE BIG DAY.

THE HARRI-PARRIS EMBARK ON A WALES-WIDE THEATRE TOUR WITH THEIR SHOW – THE BIG DAY.
In April, the creative cow shed that brought audiences across Wales and beyond their show The Leaving Do, are set to embark on another hilarious romp around Wales, with their second show, The Big Day in April 2016.
This show has already toured once, and audiences loved it so much, they’re embarking on another tour.

In case you’ve not heard of them before, The Harri-Parris are a west Walian farming family. Hilarious and dysfunctional, they love nothing more than having visitors round. Anni, the farm’s only daughter, is getting married and so the Harri-Parris want to celebrate the big day. Well, not the actual big day, they’re not made of money.

How about the night before? The night they’re going to meet Anni’s new English, vegetarian, indie musician fiancé for the first time. What could possibly for wrong? Audiences are invited in to the family kitchen, where the action takes place, and they have promised us cake. Lots of cake.
Since last touring, The Harri-Parris radio show (BBC Radio Wales) can now be heard on Radio 4 Extra and they were short-listed for best Ensemble at this year’s Wales Theatre Award.

This comedy show with songs is directed by Owen Lewis, who has directed plenty of big comedy including Eric and Little Ern, was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, Grumpy Old Women – 50 Shades of Beige (national tour); The Only Way Is Downton (Trafalgar Studios, London, Edinburgh & national tour) and Suggs: My Life Story (Garrick Theatre, London & national tour).

The tour will begin in Chapter in Cardiff on 6 April – for ticket information, visit theharriparris.co.uk
