Swansea Grand Theatre’s resident theatre company, fluellen, is marking the 400th anniversary of the death of one of the nation’s favourite playwrights with four major productions alongside a feast of Lunchtime Theatre, new plays and other entertainment in their Shakespeare 400 series.Two of the full scale productions, Richard III and As You Like It, were performed earlier in the year to critical acclaim; "Scintillating...an enthralling production." Mark Rees South Wales Evening Post on As You Like It This autumn fans of the bard can indulge in the dastardly deeds of Macbeth from 28th to 30th September. The title role will be performed by rising television star, Huw Novelli, and Allison Lenihan is Lady Macbeth. Audiences will be moved by the turbulence of his last play, The Tempest, from the 9th to 11th November. October’s Lunchtime Theatre (Sat 29), Game of Bones by Mike Witchell, takes a new look at an old Shakespearian tale.
