Students get shot at Speakeasy!

DIRECTOR Michael Bogdanov was disappointed when plans to premiere his new musical in Minneapolis had to be cancelled as there was not enough money to stage the production. But it means that Speakeasy! will now make its debut in his native country Wales instead.

The comedy, set in Al Capone's Chicago in 1933 at the end of prohibition, will be staged by students of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
