HeavenLee Theatre presents a Brighton Fringe preview of a brand new play.Out of the twenty-eight years the amiable natured Helena has been alive, five were spent in her birth country Slovakia and twenty three in England. Linda was the result of what Helena considers to be the greatest advertising scam of all time. What was described as a cute, loving, friendly cat turned out to be the devil in disguise. Years of rejected affections, scarred arms and police warnings later, personal and political circumstances change but will the pair reconcile in time to board the flight home? Performer Elise Heaven combines verbatim text, physical comedy and object manipulation to recreate the hilarious yet touching true story of Slovak girl Helena and her pet Linda, the world's worst cat. 'beautifully written and observed' ‘the coming together of performer Elise Heaven and director Jamie Lee was a match made in heaven.’ - STAGE TALK CHAPTER THURSDAY 20 APRIL 8PM TICKETS: £9.50/£8.00 https://www.chapter.org/passpawt ‘hilarious, heartfelt, thought provoking’ ‘phenomenal debut show’ - ARTS GLOS |
