Cinema audiences in Milford Haven will be able to experience a true story of a friendship that survived every attempt to destroy it in ‘Victoria And Abdul’, which sees Judi Dench reprise the role of Queen Victoria, 20 years Judi Dench, Michael Gambon, Eddie Izzard, Simon Callow and Ali Fazal star in the extraordinary true story of an unexpected friendship during the later years of Queen Victoria’s remarkable rule. When Abdul Karim, a young clerk, travels from India to participate in the Queen’s Golden Jubilee, he is surprised to find favour with the Queen herself. As the two forge an unlikely and devoted alliance, they are met with hostility from the royal household whilst the Queen begins to see a changing world through new eyes.
