The Independent Theatre Council (ITC) have been running training courses for the performing arts sector for nearly twenty years. With a philosophy based on “good art thrives on good management”, ITC also believe that “good management is learnt not genetic!” They provide a range of training services to promote this learning. Many in the sector now recognise that “a performing arts organisation’s participation in ITC training courses is generally seen as something of a benchmark in their development.” (Sally Rew, Arts Council West Midlands). The Training Programme for the year (from April 2003 to March 2004) is now ready. The annual brochure in printed form is available by contacting training@itc-arts.org or 020 7403 6698. This brochure acts as a signpost to the training and development services on offer. All of these details and the booking form are also available on the website: http://www.itc-arts.org The majority of courses take place in central London, though this year more courses and seminars are being run in accessible, out-of-London, cities (often in partnership with regional agencies).
