GREAT THINGS FOR MARCH AT THE GRAND

GREAT THINGS FOR MARCH AT THE GRAND TIM VINE: SUNSET MILK IDIOT
Swansea Grand Theatre
Sat 17 Mar, 8pm, 12+

Join us for a night of laughs with comedy odd-bod, Tim Vine, at Swansea Grand Theatre on Sat 17 Mar at 8pm.

Described as a ‘symphony of silly,’ in his new show Tim will be telling lots of silly new jokes, showing off new homemade props, singing some new daft ditties, and all with the appearance of confidence. The following subjects will be touched upon briefly: pixie football, ice cream and nibble feeders.

The only person ever to have won the Dave Television award for ‘Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe’ twice, Tim Vine is revered amongst the circuit for his absurdly silly stand-up style and mastery of one-liners.

He appeared in five series of the award-winning sitcom Not Going Out and is well known for TV appearances on Live at the Apollo, Q.I, Celebrity Mastermind, Don’t Blow the Inheritance, Countdown’s Dictionary Corner and many more.

Tickets are available at our Box Office on 01792 475715 or online at www.swanseagrand.co.uk for £22 & £25*.
*All tickets include a 50p Restoration Fund contribution. Online booking fee applies.

RUSSELL BRAND
RE:BIRTH
Swansea Grand Theatre
Tue 20 Mar, 8pm, 16+

Join us for a night with comedian, writer and thinker, Russell Brand, at Swansea Grand Theatre on Tue 20 Mar at 8pm.

Since rising to fame in 2003, Russell Brand has established himself as one of one of the world’s most celebrated stand-up comedians. His acclaimed tours include 2006’s Shame, 2007’s Only Joking, 2009’s Scandalous (which marked his US live debut) and 2013’s critically acclaimed and hugely successful, Messiah Complex, which was also a best-selling DVD.

This year sees him bring his new tour, Re:Birth, to Swansea, a show that sees him addressing his new status of fatherhood. In the blurb for his new foray into this subject, Russell asks:

“How do we make sense of the madness of our lives once we become parents? What am I going to tell my daughter about conformity and responsibility? What happens if she grows up to be like me? Or, worse, to date a man like me?”

Once you've had a baby you're a parent and immediately you go from being a madman (cool) to a mad dad (not cool). How can you be a dangerous, edgy, rebel with a tiny, little daughter?”

Aside from stand-up, Russell is also a phenomenally successful broadcaster, actor, author, podcaster, columnist, political commentator as well as a mental health and drug rehabilitation activist.

Limited (restricted view) tickets are available at our Box Office on 01792 475715 or online at www.swanseagrand.co.uk for £28*.
*All tickets include a 50p Restoration Fund contribution. Online booking fee applies.
