CHORES

Canolfan y Celfyddydau Aberystwyth Arts Centre
GORFFENNAF 23 JULY Stori am ddau frawd yn ymlacio yn eu hystafell wely flêr yw 'Chores'. Maent yn clywed eu Mam yn dod ac yn prysuro i wneud eu tasgau fel y gallent fynd allan i reidio eu beics! Thema sy'n gyfarwydd i bob un ohonom a dyma sioe llawn hiwmor direidus a fydd yn apelio at blant ac oedolion fel ei gilydd.

Mae 'Chores' yn sioe 60-munud fywiog a chyffrous sy'n cynnwys acrobateg, jyglo, beicio un olwyn a llu o sgiliau anhygoel eraill. Bydd teuluoedd gyda phlant wrth eu bodd efo'r anturiaeth gomedi wyllt hon!

'Roedd 2018 yn flwyddyn wych i 'Chores' wrth iddi ennill Ffefryn y Gynulleidfa yng Ngŵyl Ymylol Prague; gwerthu allan ac ychwanegu rhagor o sioeau yng Ngŵyl Ymylol Brighton; yn ail orau ar gyfer Sioe Blant Orau yn FRINGEWORLD Perth 2018; ennill y Wobr Wythnosol ar gyfer Sioe Blant Orau yng Ngŵyl Ymylol Adelaide, a gwerthu allan yng Ngŵyl Ymylol 2018! Mae 'Chores' yn dychwelyd i Gaeredin yn ystod rhan olaf taith chwe-mis o gwmpas Prydain a Chymru.

Charlie Chaplin a Buster Keaton yn cyfarfod â Tom a Jerry: Mae 'Chores' yn cyfuno setiau syrcas, jôcs dyfeisgar a styntiau syfrdanol, gydag ychydig iawn o ddialog ar lafar. Bydd y plant ar bigau drain, yn chwerthin yn braf, tra bydd eu rhieni yn gyfarwydd iawn â'r heriau digrif.

Gyda phob math o bethau difyr megis hŵps, blociau adeiladu a gynnau papur toiled, gall rhywbveth ddigwydd!

Yn cyflwyno comedi, acrobateg, gorffwylltra llwyr a sbri lanhau wyllt munud-olaf - a fyddant yn dod i ben yn y pendraw? A fydd y tasgau yn cael eu cyflawni?!

Chores is the story of two brothers hanging out in their messy bedroom. They hear their Mum approaching and must hustle to get their jobs done so they can ride their bicycles! A storyline we can all relate to, kids go crazy for the acrobatics, juggling, major flips, acrobalance and cheeky humour.

Chores is an action-packed 60-minute show, jam-packed with acrobatics, juggling, unicycling and other amazing skills. Families with kids will love this wild comedy adventure!

Chores had a great 2018, winning Audience Favourite at Prague Fringe, selling out and adding extra shows at Brighton Fringe, was a runner-up for Best Children's Show at Perth FRINGEWORLD 2018, won the Weekly Award for Best Children's Show at Adelaide Fringe, and sold out at Edinburgh Fringe 2018! Chores returns to Edinburgh on the final leg of a six-month tour of Britain and Wales.

Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton meets Tom and Jerry, Chores combines circus set pieces, inventive gags, and uproarious stunts, with little to no spoken dialogue. Kids will be on the edge of their seats, giggling mischievously, whilst their parents will find the all-too-familiar challenges hilarious. With distractions like hoops, building blocks, and toilet paper guns, all bets are off.

Cue comedy, acrobatics, fast-paced freneticism and a last-minute madcap cleaning spree — will they ever finish? Will the chores get done?!
