Following the success of the first three ‘Hakoustic’ performances, local events company HAKA Entertainment are delighted to present another intimate night of top quality live music, this time in Aberystwyth Arts Centre’s Theatre y Werin, on November 8th.

The evening will be presented and directed by Mo Pleasure, literally one of the greatest multi-instrumentalists in the world and perhaps best known for being a member and musical director of one of the most successful bands of all time, Earth Wind & Fire.

Mo has been at the forefront of American popular music for the last three decades and his CV reads like a ‘Who’s Who?’ of popular music. He began his professional career playing with Ray Charles before moving on to work with the likes of George Duke, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, Mary J Blige, Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack to name but a few. He was also Michael Jackson's last ever keyboard player and he is currently Musical Director for the iconic Bette Midler.

Hakoustic 4 will also see HAKA co-founder and London-based vocalist Kedma return to her hometown of Aberystwyth. Kedma, who is currently putting the finishing touches to her debut original E.P, has already worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Ariana Grande, Jermaine Jackson, Bebe Rexha, Alfie Boe, Michael Ball, Ant & Dec and Gareth Malone to name a few. Kedma is probably best known for her performance of Queen’s ‘Somebody To Love’ on BBC 1's Pitch Battle which had the judges out of their seats - and Gareth Malone standing on his desk!

The evening will also feature performances by a whole host of local acts including Gwi Jones, Hollow Log, George Nash, Bois y Fro, Harriet Taylor, Mared Emyr and Côr Ger y Lli. All these excellent musicians will be collaborating with Mo to help produce a unique and very special night of quality live music.

Tickets for Hakoustic 4 are available now from the Aberystwyth Arts Centre box office on 01970 623232, artstaff@aber.ac.uk and www.aberystwythartscentre.co.uk.
