Mae Lighthouse Theatre yn falch i ddychwelyd i Aberystwyth ar gyfer y llwyfaniad unigryw o ffilm glasur a phoblogaidd. Mae It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play yn cael ei pherfformio fel darllediad byw radio o flaen gynulleidfa fyw yn y 1940au.

Gyda help criw o chwech o actorion ac arlunydd foley byw yn creu’r effeithiau sain, mae hanes y delfrydol George Bailey yn datgelu wrth iddo ystyried rhoi ddiwedd ar ei fywyd un Noswyl Nadolig tyngedfennol.

Yn dilyn perfformiadau clodwiw o Aberystwyth Mon Amour, Shirley Valentine a Hard Times, mae Lighthouse yn dod â’i gyfuniad o hiwmor, pathos a dull hynod o adrodd straeon i greu darn o hudoliaeth dymhorol ar gyfer y teulu i gyd.

Mae’r cast yn cynnwys Daniel Llewellyn-Williams (A Regular Little Houdini), Melangell Dolma, Sonia Beck, Adrian Metcalfe, Joanna Lucas, James Ifan, a Kieran Bailey; ac mae’r cyfarwyddo gan Joe Harmston.

Mae’r sioe’n dod i Ganolfan y Celfyddydau Aberystwyth 13 & 14 Rhagfyr, ac mae tocynnau ar gael nawr o’r swyddfa docynnau ar 01970 623232, arstaff@aber.ac.uk neu www.aberystwythartscentre.co.uk.

Lighthouse Theatre is delighted to return to Aberystwyth for this unique staging of a much-loved film classic. It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is performed as a live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience in the 1940s.

With the help of an ensemble of six actors and a live foley artist creating the sound effects, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

Following acclaimed performances of Aberystwyth Mon Amour, Shirley Valentine and Hard Times, Lighthouse bring their blend of humour pathos and quirky storytelling to create a piece of seasonal magic for the whole family.

The cast includes Daniel Llewellyn-Williams (A Regular Little Houdini), Melangell Dolma, Sonia Beck, Adrian Metcalfe, Joanna Lucas, James Ifan, and Kieran Bailey; and direction is by Joe Harmston.

The show comes to Aberystwyth Arts Centre on 13 & 14 December, and tickets are available now from the box office on 01970 623232, artstaff@aber.ac.uk or www.aberystwythartscentre.co.uk.
