The Welsh Broadcasting Trust is a registered charity, established to promote and support educational activities in relation to television, film, radio and new media. Its aim is to expand and enrich the range of skills and experience for the media of the future. The trust can support applications for support for: - Participation in appropriate training or career development courses, full or part-time, e.g. writing workshops/specialist technical skills/business development. - Attendance of educational courses at higher degree level. (Please note that the Trust does not fund under-graduate entry to courses). - Travel grants to accredited festivals/markets. - Training bodies or companies which offer specific training/educational programmes. - Projects which enrich the cultural experience through the medium of television, film, radio and new media. To apply, applicants must either have been fully resident in Wales for at least two years prior to making the application, or born in Wales, or a Welsh speaker. Applicants will be requested to confirm their eligibility.
