Normally only available via paid subscriptions, Oxford Reference Online can now be accessed at no charge by people across Wales, either through the internet services available in public libraries or at home for those with their own internet access and who are members of a public library. You can log on to the service at home by using a password and library card number which will be given to you by your library. This initiative was launched by Welsh Assembly Government e-Minister Andrew Davies at the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells last month. The Welsh Assembly Government sees this initiative as benefiting schoolchildren, students, adult learners and returners to education.
