Autumn Courses at Aberystwyth Arts Centre     

A weekly class introducing the basic skills of this exciting and athletic dance form. Suitable for boys and girls, also open to students.
Thursdays 4.00-5.30 from October 9th age 13+
£25 (£20) for 9 weeks

Lucy Gough: Dramatic Writing: a workshop for aspiring writers and playwrights looking at theatricality in writing linked to the premiere of Lucy Gough’s new play Gryf...Head on October 30th. This practical session will be led by Lucy whose dramatisation of Wuthering Heights was recently broadcast on Radio 4. Lucy also writes for Holly Oaks and has written several plays both for radio and for theatres throughout the UK.
Saturday 11th October 11am – 4pm adults 15+
£20 (£17)

Creative writing course for would-be and practicing poets.
With the emphasis firmly on stimulating and supporting people’s own writing, the course also gives an opportunity to learn about style, form and technique through the reading and discussion of work by published poets. With Stuart Jones
Wednesdays from October 22nd adults 15+
£25 (20) for 8 week course

An intensive course in electronic music and live recording: how to use recording studio equipment, record and process live material and create electronic music. No previous experience necessary., the course is useful for musicians, music teachers and anyone involved in composition and creating music. With Chris Gibson
Sat 15 Nov 2.00-6.00pm & Sun 16 Nov 11.00-5.00pm adults 15+
