The Edith Russ Site for Media Art, in Oldenburg, Germany, is awarding three, six-month stipends, aimed at artists working with new media. Each stipend is worth ?10,225.84 (20,000 DM). The stipend will last for six months (July-December 2004). The artists selected are not required to stay at in Oldenburg for the duration of the stipend; however, there is an apartment in the guest house, which can be reserved by appointment. The artist will be integrated into the activities of the Site, and will be required to be open to the public (i.e. lectures, workshops, artist's talks) for at least three dates. The stipends are made possible by the Foundation of Lower Saxony. The deadline for applications is 31st January 2004.
