EUCLID, the official UK Cultural Contact Point, appointed by the European Commission and the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport, is offering a seminar programme for the arts and cultural sector on European funding opportunities across the UK during March and April 2004. The seminars will cover the full range of European Union (EU) funding programmes, including the Culture 2000 programme, other trans-national funds, and the Structural Funds. In addition, the seminars will focus on the enlargement of the EU (begins on May 1 2004) with extra information on building links and partnerships with key contacts from these countries. There will also be there will be an extra focus on case studies of successful projects with UK partners as well as a full update on those who were successful for the 2003 call, and the timetable and likely criteria for the 2005 call. The Cultur?uro Seminars run from 10.30 am - 4.30 pm. Further details will be contained in the free Alert e-newsletter (www.euclid.info/uk/opportunities) The seminars will take place as follows: · Tuesday 16 March in London (at the DCMS, Trafalgar Square) · Tuesday 23 March in Bath (at University of Bath) · Wednesday 24 March in Cardiff (at Chapter Arts Centre) · Tuesday 6 April in Glasgow (at Glasgow Opportunities) · Wednesday 7 April in Belfast (at Arts Council of Northern Ireland) · Wednesday 14 April in Newcastle (at Arts Council England, North East) · Thursday 15 April in Leeds (at West Yorkshire Playhouse) · Tuesday 20 April in London (at the DCMS, Trafalgar Square) · Wednesday 21 April in Norwich (at University of East Anglia) · Thursday 22 April in Leicester (at University of Leicester) The registration fee for the seminars is £96 + VAT (£112.80) with discounts available for some venues.
