The next Visions Festival of Visual Performance will take place in Brighton from Thursday 21st to Saturday 30th October, 2004. Promoted by the University of Brighton, the event will present ten days of performances on stages, in studios, in streets, and in other unusual spaces in and around Brighton. Running alongside the main festival will be a fringe event - Launch-Pad. Festival organisers are currently seeking work by British companies who are working with contemporary visual performance to be included in Launch-Pad. There will be no payment for participation in Launch-Pad; however there will be opportunities for a box office split with participating venues, and the event will provide a platform for companies to show new work in festival fringe venues in central Brighton.
