BARCLAYS HELP THEATR NA N’OG TO PERFORM TO SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOLS |

Neath based Theatre Company Theatr na n’Og, are currently touring to infants schools in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend with their latest production Big Bad Wolf. The production will tour for twelve weeks to over 75 schools and to almost 4000 children across the three county boroughs. Thanks to a donation from the Barclays Community Investment Programme, Big Bad Wolf will also be performed free of charge to young people with Special Needs at the following schools. Briton Ferry Special School, Neath Tywyn Primary School, Port Talbot Ysgol Crug Glas, Swansea Heronsbridge Special School, Bridgend Ysgol Bryn Castell, Bridgend The donation from Barclays has also enabled Theatr na n’Og to second Special Needs Advisory Teachers to the company to help adapt the play and the accompanying education resources to make the production as accessible as possible to Special Needs schools. Kathy Brown, Barclays Community Manager for Wales said, “This is a great opportunity for Barclays, to make a real and lasting difference to the local community, making the arts accessible to all schools within the locality.
