| i have recently completed a BA degree in Drama theatre and media at the university of glamorgan pontypridd. i achieved many things throughout my time there including characterisation skills and technical skills. i also directed 2 shows/plays at my time there which were george orwells 1984 and paul durdens Twin Town. i have been involved in the industry from a very young beginning as a dancer gaining numerous certificates and now carrying a BTEC in the field aswell as a leaders in dance qualification. at a younger age i performed alongside Wayne Sleep in her majestys theatre in the heart of londons west end. I was also cast as a young boy in a play by colin mcpherson called "this lime tree bower" which was entered as a possible show for the scarborough festival. before my university days i was an active member of several amateur dramatic societies participating in a large selection of shows. these include My fair Lady, Hello Dolly, Sweeney Todd, Scrooge, Oliver, Jodeph, Annie, and The Wizard of oz in which i played the scarecrow. I also have a passion for backstage and theatre techinical work, alongside directing my two shows in university i did the lighting and sound designs for them. through this side of the theatre i have had the pleasure of working with artists such as peter karrie and max boyce performing sound and lighting operations for their shows. |
