David trained at The Academy of Musical Theatre Wales graduating with distinction and achieving the 'Student of the Year' award. At a young age he attended The Mark Jermin Stage School, Swansea. His theatre credits include lead role in Oliver!, Tony in The Boyfriend, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK Tour, Bill Kenwright), Lance in Piece of Cake (AMT-Wales), Anthony in Sweeney Todd (Riverfront Theatre, AMT-Wales) title role in Peter Pan (OMTC, Tour) and West-End showcases at The Criterion Theatre and Her Majesty's Theatre, London. As part of The Cardiff International Festival of Musical Theatre 2006, David played Tommy Farr opposite Mal Pope in a Gala Concert production of Mal?s new musical The Contender (The Sherman Theatre, Cardiff). David's television appearances include Hope and Glory (BBC), Mad for It! (ITV) Pobl y Cwm (S4C) Showtime Wales! (BBC) and Wedi 7 (S4C). Film credits; The Testimony of Taliesin Jones (Snake River Productions). In 2002 David was awarded ?Best Male Vocalist? by the South Wales Entertainment Federation for his cabaret act.
