| venue policy | A civic theatre with a lively mixed programme of cinema and live shows. Other performances include opera, contemporary dance, ballet and orchestral concerts.The Coliseum Theatre was originally opened in 1938. Since then it has played host to many celebrities and is also the place to see ballet, opera, drama and dance. The Coliseum also provides a platform for many local schools and amateur-dramatic organisations to perform. The Coliseum is also home to the newly formed Drama Academy We do pay guarantees but prefer to take shows on a first-call or box-office split. The venue is also available to hire. |
