ANOTHER WELSH PLAY HITS NEW YORK CITY.

Following close on the heels of Gary Owen's recent success off-Broadway, another Welsh play is about to hit the New York stage.

'Nora's Bloke' by Cardiff-based writer, Mark Jenkins, will run from August 12th-29th at the Blue Heron Arts Center, off Park Avenue and Lexington, Manhattan., directed by Leslie (Hoban) Blake.

The show was premiered in Cardiff last December by Cardiff Everyman Theatre and will be published by Parthian Books in a volume of five of Jenkins' plays, entitled 'More Lives Than One' , due out in Septenber. Another of his plays, 'Playing Burton', ran for ten weeks last summer at the Irish Repertory Theatre, off Sixth Avenue and there is now considerable interest in further plays from the same volume.
